Awareness and Charity Rides
What better way is there to generate revenue, celebrate a cause or honor your favorite charity than with a bike tour along the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal? At Mountainside Bike Tours, we handle all the planning and coordination. Transportation services and bike rentals are handled by our friends at Freedom Trail Riders and Adventure Sports.
You may elect just a straight pedal or add great sightseeing options along the way. For family and friends who don’t pedal, there are daily sightseeing opportunities and other enjoyable activities.
Lodging can be anywhere from basic camping to B&B’s, Inns, hotels, guest houses and lodges. For meals, you will be treated to favorites and specialties from local restaurants and caterers. Wonderful attractions such as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, whitewater rafting, float trips, Antietam Battlefield, Harper’s Ferry, canal boat rides at Great Falls plus museums and historic interpretations. This is so much more than just a bike trip.
